My name is Joan Bragoni and I am the proud owner of Feathered Nest Designs. I am a home based design workroom and residential planner. I create all soft home decor, work with hardware systems, and hard window treatments as well as upholstery and slipcovers.

I am a member of the Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA) as well as the president of our CT local chapter WCAA CT River East. I am a graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

I’ve also studied at CHF Academy and take ongoing education very seriously by continuously taking courses in such things as color consultation (I am a certified color consultant), slipcover / upholstery, and pillow fabrication. I also attend trade events to update my knowledge of hard window treatments (blinds, shades, shutters) at least yearly.
